1. Service Overview

The Passport Expert offers an application guidance and document review service for UK passport applicants. Our Premier Passport Check service includes:

  • Reviewing application details and supporting documents prior to submission
  • Providing guidance on eligibility, required documents, and HM Passport Office (HMPO) policies
  • Checking passport photos for compliance with HMPO standards
  • Advising clients on Fast Track appointments and application pathways
  • Offering technical and procedural support (e.g., help uploading documents, navigating forms)
  • Providing general reassurance and preparation for HMPO video interviews where applicable
  • Ongoing post-submission guidance if HMPO requests additional documents or information
  • Attending HMPO appointments on behalf of clients, with their full knowledge and consent. In the case of document collections, written client consent is required

We do not submit passport applications on behalf of clients, nor do we represent or act as an agent of HMPO.

2. Client Responsibility

All passport applications are made directly by the client using official UK Government channels (e.g. GOV.UK). Clients are solely responsible for:

  • Entering their own personal information
  • Submitting their application and making payment via the official site or in person at a Passport Office
  • Ensuring that all information provided to The Passport Expert is accurate and complete

3. No Affiliation with HM Passport Office

The Passport Expert is an independent guidance service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of His Majesty's Passport Office (HMPO), the Home Office, or any government agency. All official decisions regarding passport issuance rest with HMPO alone.

4. Limitation of Liability

While we take every care in reviewing documents and providing guidance, The Passport Expert UK cannot guarantee the outcome or processing time of any passport application. We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client
  • Technical issues with the HMPO website or booking system
  • Client non-compliance with HMPO instructions or policy

5. Service Availability

  • Phone support is available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
  • WhatsApp and email support are available 24/7 (responses typically within 2 hours)
  • Support during HMPO video interviews is limited to preparatory guidance and cannot be provided live during interviews

6. Fees and Payment

Our service fee covers document review, support, and guidance only. It does not include any HMPO application or appointment fees. These must be paid directly by the client to HMPO.

7. Privacy and Data

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you provide will be:

  • Used solely for the purpose of providing our passport support service
  • Stored securely and in compliance with UK GDPR
  • Never shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law
